“Theological reflection is a method on learning how to be a disciple of Jesus Christ in a particular time and cultural context. The reflection process seeks to connect our lived experience with our tradition for the sake of putting our faith into practice. This kind of doing theology seeks to reveal the presence of God in our experience and to participate in the divine life that is offered there. We will use group discussions and seminar style classes in which students take turns presenting, as our main learning methods.”
“Se ofrecerá en este curso una introducción general a los escritos de san Juan (Evangelio, Cartas, Apocalipsis), poniendo especial atención en la Cristología y la Eclesiología que estos documentos presentan, notando sus principales características y teología. Esto mediante el análisis de pasajes escogidos, buscando así profundizar en la Catequesis de San Juan.”

From the biblical mentality, the course examines a variety of important dimensions of life that men and women share together in the world. The human being looks like the apex of God’s creative work. His dignity consists in being created to his image and likeness. The course analyses the dignity which corresponds to man and woman and the way in which sin and its consequences affect and frustrate the vocation of everyone in the world. And finally, Jesus and his Ministry reveal with more clarity the identity and vocation of the human being in the world and your last destination in God.
